Pickled Onions
Ingredients:
1 Red Onion
1 Cup of Water
1/2 Cup White Vinegar
1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 Tbsp Kosher Salt
1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1 Garlic Clove
Some whole peppercorns
Step 1: Slice Onions
Carefully slice up the onions into thin strips. The thinner they are, the faster they will pickle!
Step 2: Dissolve the cure
Heat up the water and vinegar in a sauce pan, and add in the kosher salt and brown sugar. Stir until completely disolved and then allow the mixture to cool.
Step 3: Mix together
Pour the cure over the onions and put into the fridge for 2 - 12 hours.
Serve cold!
