Asian Steak Tips

Today we are whipping up a home made Asian marinade and using it to tenderize petite sirloin steak tips! These are my ultimate favorite way to do steak tips and the flavor is unreal! After the marinade we are getting the Weber Kettle Master Touch rip roaring hot and searing them off! I do these maybe every other week guys, they are fantastic! Sound good? Lets get started...

Ingredients:
~1 Lb Petite Sirloin Steak

Asian Style Marinade
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp Minced Garlic (dry)
1/2 Tsp Chinese 5 Spice

Step 1: Combine the Asian Marinade

Combine the marinade ingredients into a ziplock back or marinating tray

Step 2: Trim and cut the steak

Trim off any excess hard fat, and then cut the steak into 2 inch by 1 inch strips

Step 3: Marinade the tips

Add the steak to the marinade and marinade for about 24hrs

(I usually smack the meat a bunch here to tenderize it)

Step 4: Sear and cook the steak

Make two zones on your grill. Sear off the steak directly over the fire/coals.

Then, move the tips to the indirect side of your grill and allow them to come up to temp.

I like to pull them around 120/125

Enjoy!
