Tzatziki Sauce

Delicious Tzatziki Sauce that goes well with anything Mediterranean. Light and garlicy, this is a the perfect compliment to red meat!

As seen in my Mediterranean Lamb Rib video!

Makes enough for 4 people

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Grated Cucumber

  • 1 Cub Greek Yogurt

  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice

  • 1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil

  • 2 Garlic Cloves

  • 1/2 Tsp Kosher Salt

  • 1 Tbsp Chopped Dill

  • 1 Tbsp Chopped Mint

Step 1: Grate the Cucumber

The cucumber is the most important piece of a good tzatziki. If you don’t drain the excess moisture you’re going to have a sloppy mess. Once you have grated the cucumber (it should take about an entire large cucumber) put a paper towel on top of the gratings and slowly push down to start soaking up the juice. Keep doing this until not much more moisture is being soaked.

Step 2: Chop up Garlic, Dill and Mint

You want all 3 ingredients to be minced very small. Once they are minced and mixed into the sauce we don’t want any big chunks floating around.

Step 3: Mix together

Mix together all of the ingredients and add salt/pepper to taste. Put it in the fridge until meal time, this should be served cold!

Enjoy!
